This is located in the Paraje Los Arenales, right at the entrance of the Garganta de los Infierno Natural Reserve, and it is informed through multimedia panels of the natural values, cultural and historical-artistic of the Natural Reserve.

Water Interpretation Center

Salmonid Breeding Center
Also known as the "Fish Farm" is located a few kilometers from the municipality of Jerte. Its objective is the breeding of the Trout, for the purposes of repopulating the rivers of different regions of Extremadura. You can take a free self-guided tour.

Facades open-air museum

Doctor Sayans Ethnographic Museum

It is a baroque style building, made of masonry with granite reinforcements. It is accessed through the semicircular entrance located at the foot, under a modern arcade.

Hermitage Our Lady of Peñas Albas
It is a religious construction with sober exterior architecture, which belongs to the baroque style of the 18th century, inside also, highlights the altarpiece, the paintings of the vault and the image of the Virgin of Peñas Albas. Hermitage of San Antonio

Hermitage of San Jorge
The Hermitage of San Jorge is built in masonry and quarry in its corners, currently whitewashed. Inside we find an 18th century altarpiece with carvings, that once housed the image of Our Lady of the Rock, important image from the beginning of the 18th century, but currently missing.

Hermitage of Cristo del Humilladero
It is a Mudejar style construction located in what is known as Alto del Humilladero, and has a square structure, with cover on lintel, and preceded by a porch of the present time, consequence of new buildings made for maintenance. In it a carving of the Cristo del Humilladero is venerated, that was donated by a couple of the people, Teresa Bermejo and Severín Núñez.

Chapel of Santa María del Viso

This church has great importance in the locality, from the middle of the 16th century according to the shield of Bishop Ponce de León in the sacristy, and the second half of the seventeenth century, according to inscription on the tower. Our Lady of the Assumption Church (Jerte)
It is the most representative monument in the town of Jerte, dates from the 18th century, although it has elements prior to that century. It is built in masonry with ashlar reinforcements in corners and arcades., the tower rises, medieval work, defensive airs, as suggested by its pointed bow. San Miguel's Church
It is the most characteristic monument in the town of Cabrero, 18th century work, but built on the remains of a temple prior to the 16th century. Inside, is the image of San Miguel, from the eighteenth century from which it receives its name.

San Juan Bautista Church (Piornal)
It is the most interesting building that is preserved in Piornal, and stands on the remains of the old parish church demolished in 1966. The current one was built that same year with a project by the architect Don Tomás Civantos Hernández and only the old Gothic building was respected.

Our Mary Virgin of Mercy Church
This Church built in the middle of the 16th century, and reformed in the seventeenth. It is a work dedicated to the Virgin of Mercy, built in exposed masonry, and granite ashlars for reinforcement. The image of the Virgin of Mercy, Spanish-Flemish carving from the 15th century, it is a work of great artistic value.

Santa Maria de Gracia Church
h and of, one of the medieval villages that existed in the region, nowadays disappeared. It is a construction made of masonry, and marked by the shield of Bishop Gutiérrez de Vargas Carvajal.

Santa Catalina Parish Church
Although this church has been recently reformed, it is a humble 17th century construction. It is formed by a main nave all divided by semicircular arches. The temple houses a silver chalice in the Gothic-Renaissance style, donated by Bishop Gutiérrez de Vargas y Carvajal.

Church of San Miguel Arcángel
It is a 15th century temple, raised on an ancient Hebrew synagogue, and consists of a single nave divided into four sections. Inside they stand out, for art lovers, the church choir at his feet, and a beautiful baroque altarpiece at the head.
